What we collect
Your name, contact details and what you tell us about your matter, from this website’s forms, by phone, by email and in meetings.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, to check for conflicts of interest, to carry out your instructions and to keep the records the law and our regulator require. The lawful basis is the steps needed before and during a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running the firm.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become matters: 12 months. Client files: six years after the matter closes, longer where the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, and in some cases ask us to delete it or stop using it. Write to privacy@marlowreid.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
