30 minutes, in person or by phone. Credited against your first invoice if you go ahead. Free if we cannot help.

Legal aid
Available for some family and immigration matters. We are a legal aid provider and check eligibility for free.
Legal expenses insurance
Often included in home or car insurance. Bring your policy and we check the wording.
Payment plans
Fixed fees can be paid monthly over the life of the matter, interest free.
No-win-no-fee
Reviewed for employment claims after the first consultation. Terms in writing before you decide.
Questions about fees
Is the quote binding?
Yes. A fixed fee is fixed. A capped fee will not be exceeded without your written agreement.
What are disbursements?
Costs we pay on your behalf to other people: court fees, searches, experts. We list them in the quote and pass them on at cost.
When do I pay?
Fixed fees: half on instruction, half on completion. Hourly work: monthly, itemised. The £95 consultation is paid when you book.
Do you charge for phone calls and emails?
Not within a fixed or capped fee. On hourly matters, yes, in six-minute units, and you see every one on the bill.
